I'm ready for my new family!

Gus Wafflesworth is a red Dachshund who looks as though he was designed to fit perfectly under a breakfast table. Active, playful, and curious, he enjoys walks, sniffing adventures, games, and anything that lets him put his nose to work. His compatibility with children and dogs is still being assessed, and he may be able to live with some cats. Gus is continuing his training and will appreciate a patient person who understands that Dachshunds often have strong opinions about how things should be done. His long back needs protecting, with ramps and help avoiding jumps from furniture. With ears that may collect crumbs and a nose that collects information, Gus is ready to gather a few more fans in a home that enjoys his lively, low-riding charm.
