I'm ready for my new family!

Otis McDrooligan is a long-haired Dachshund whose solemn expression disguises an active, playful, and curious personality. He loves putting his nose to work, turning a simple walk into a detailed investigation of sidewalks, trees, and information invisible to his human companions. Otis may be able to live with some cats, while his compatibility with children and dogs is still being assessed. He needs a family that enjoys sniffing adventures, will continue his training, and has enough patience to let a hound investigate. His silky coat requires regular brushing, and his long back needs protecting with ramps and help avoiding leaps from furniture. Equal parts detective, comedian, and fluffy companion, Otis has plenty of personality behind that world-weary face.
