Ranger Hubcap is a fawn Great Dane currently recovering in the Recovery Room after treatment for a persistent ear problem and a minor ear-canal procedure. He is deaf or hearing impaired, uses sight and routine to understand his surroundings, and is already trained to hand signals. Ranger is healing well and should return to adoptable status after his follow-up appointment. He needs an experienced home, doesn’t enjoy other dogs, and is comfortable with cats. New situations require thoughtful introductions, clear communication, and the structure that helps him feel secure. Beneath those needs is a gentle giant who reads body language beautifully and appreciates his trusted people. When recovery is finished, this committed couch potato will be ready for companionship and a very large couch.
