I'm staying with the rescue furever!

Barkley Cooper is a plush red-and-white Akita enjoying life as a Forever Foster, with a safe home and people committed to his long-term comfort. He likes kids, may enjoy some cats, and finds big dogs intimidating despite being a substantial fellow himself. Barkley prefers low-impact activities, peaceful routines, comfortable naps, and familiar company. His impressive coat also brings seasonal shedding, occasionally making it difficult to tell where the dog ends and the rug begins. Forever Foster care allows him to remain settled while the rescue continues supporting his needs. His days are about soft resting places, gentle attention, and the security of a home where he can relax and enjoy this chapter of his life.
